“Fun House” gets a more appropriate title and a trailer.
The upcoming Tina Fey comedy-war movie now has a trailer. Tina Fey plays real-life American journalist Kim Barker during her middle east assignment in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Also starring is Margot Robbie who plays fellow (and the only other female) journalist Tanya and Martin Freeman plays Tina’s love-interest (and fellow journalist). Notably, Alfred Molina plays an unnamed affluent Middle Eastern and Billy Bob Thornton takes the role of a US soldier.
In the trailer, Tina’s Kim seems to be having the greatest time in one of the most dangerous places on Earth as the assignment is a great change from her usual boring work life in New York. However, of course, it’s not always like that. The trailer also takes advantage of Margot Robbie, by making her to get the second most screen time because of her rising star reputation.
The movie is based on Barker’s memoir “The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan”. It is by Paramount Pictures and will be released on March 4.
