The lowest box-office result for a big-budgeted Super-hero movie. Even lower than the ‘Green Hornet’.
You’ve probably heard so many news about yet again another failure of having the Fantastic 4 on the silver screen. I mean, with such a weak reason that they needed to make the movie so that they can keep the movie rights (which was actually satirized by the TV show Arrested Development), you know it’s going to be another stinker.
The latest news about the movie is that it is flopping in the box-office. For now, it gathered an estimate of $11.3 Million and maybe could accumulate at least $20 Million. An ultimately sad result for a movie that had a budget of $122 Million.
Much lower than Michel Godnry’s ‘Green Hornet’ that garnered $35 Milllion, the lowest box-office for a a big-budgeted Super-hero movie, that is until now.
We feel kinda sorry for the actors and maybe some sympathy for the director, Josh Trank, who recently blamed 20th Century Fox for everything. And he’s probably right.
