Star Wars fans and everybody who knows about the significance of May 4 expected that there’ll be some huge announcement regarding the much anticipated Star Wars: Episode VII. Director JJ Abrams and screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan did take some time to record a video to greet the franchise’s large cult following a happy May 4th but the two left out details regarding the movie. They did share about the film’s current shooting location and some casting updates.
The most recent casting announcement is the 7 new addition comprising of Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Domhnall Gleeson, Daisy Ridley, Andy Serkis and Max von Sydow. They will be joining the saga’s veterans, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in the new film.
Star Wars: Episode VII will start shooting in a couple of weeks and will be released on the 18th of December, 2015.
