Director J.J. Abrams reveals the date of shooting Episode IX. Plus, someone from Blade Runner: 2049 is joining.
As we all know, J.J. Abrams who directed the first film, The Force Awakens, is returning to direct the untitled conclusion of the trilogy. Now only known with the working title : Black Diamond (for good reason).
After prominent changes in the director-writer team, the movie is set for a June 2018 shooting date. Most likely starting in Argyll, Scotland.
Paul Inglis, the art director for Game of Thrones and the 2017 hit Blade Runner: 2049 (which is the sequel to another iconic Harrison Ford movie) is joining the creative team of the movie. Based on Runner, which is a Sci-fi movie, maybe we will see more colors in the lives of the characters.
Not to mention that the film will updating to 65 MM from the usual 35MM so for a better visual quality.
