Sony partners with Marvel and is Andrew Garfield REALLY out of the franchise?
Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios had probably made one of the best decisions in comic book films for the sake of our favorite Spidey. The two major studios, under the guidance of Amy Pascal (Sony) and Kevin Feige ( Marvel) had just announced that they have merged in making another reboot of Spider Man.
The hero will be featured in one of the Avenger films, most likely the Civil War sequel that has it’s release set on May 2016. After that, he will star in a movie of his own.
Also, since it’s going to be a reboot, the actor Andrew Garfield will no longer play the hero. There is still no news who will be the next Spider-Man.
However, fans are already trending that they want a black-hispanic Spider-Man by the name of Miles Morales. The character debuted in 2011 and his features are based on US President Barrack Obama and actor/rapper Donald Glover. They want the aforementioned actor to play the role.
This step is a respond to the downward trajectory of the franchise since 2007 with Tobey Maguire.
