“This is a rebellion, isn’t it? I rebel,” says Felicity Jones’ Jyn Orso in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story new TV spot.
As December draws near, clips of the new anthology series are beginning to shed some light. Here is another glimpse of what is to come in The Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. This will be the first stand-alone film, which means no traces of the Skywalkers and old favorites from the original trilogy with the exception of Darth Vader and Bail Organa. The film also shows a character cross-over from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series/book. Forest Whitaker portrays Saw Gerrera, a member of the insurgent group being trained (unofficially) by Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Anakin’s apprentice Ahsoka Tano.
The Rogue One: A Star Wars Story features a new set of faces. The trailer for the first of its anthology starts with Jyn Orso declaring her fight against the Imperial Force. Amidst the new characters, the usual deathtroopers, explosions and a dark cloaked figure are also depicted.
As seen on the trailer, Rogue One shows a new route of the latest Star Wars saga. And, wherever that route takes us, Star Wars fans are sure to follow and amass another greater following for this new anthology.
