Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Black Adam will have his first appearance in Suicide Squad 2, and not in Shazam! And here’s how!
Black Adam is a super-villain and an anti-hero in the DC comic book universe. He has a substantial villain role in the Shazam! film. However, he will have his first appearance in Suicide Squad 2.
Some sources for The Wrap say that in the sequel, the members of the Squad are assigned to track down his character, described as a weapon of mass destruction.
“The Rock” has hinted how his role will be introduced in the DC movie universe in the past. For an actor, playing a character that is featured in two different films is pretty cool.
Suicide Squad 2 has a release date in 2019. The film revolves around a group of super villains who have made a deal with the government to use their services for good. The plot is still unknown. Meanwhile, Shazam! premieres in April 5, 2019. The film is about a boy who turns into an adult superhero.
