We saw En Sabah Nur, a.ka. Apocalypse, at the post-credit scene of X-Men: Days of Future Past. He’s not only the first mutant, but is one of the most powerful because of his array of powers. Oscar Isaac was able to elaborate one of them in his latest interview while discussing about the critically acclaimed film “A Most Violent Year.”
Comingsoon.net sat down with the actor, with his golden globe nominee co-star Jessica Chastain, and they couldn’t help but ask for some information about his role in X-Men: Apocalypse.
“…his major powers is being able to change all the molecules in his body,” the actor said. “So I’ll be changing all the molecules in my body… It’s gonna be a lot of fun.,” the actor said.
The costume has not been figured out yet. Most likely it will be a motion capture suit since Nur is this huge muscly guy that has the “ability to conform his body to other shapes, sizes, elongate limbs, or adapt it to face extreme conditions/enemy abilities.”
X-Men: Apocalypse will also star James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult. The film will also feature younger versions of Cyclops, Storm and Jean Grey.
The film will start shooting in Montreal beginning April, 2015 for a May 27, 2016 release.
