The Transformers movie franchise is hard to kill. However, Michael Bay is ready to say goodbye to it, only after directing just one more.
Despite that the franchise is critically panned, Bay loves the movies he helped built. The director affirms that he will direct Transformers 5 but will be THE LAST ONE. It is said that sequel no. 5 will open up the “Transformers” universe.
“I still have a great time. It’s fun to do a movie that 100 million people will see. But this is the last one. I have to pass the reins to someone else,” adding that “it’s time to move on. One more.”, he told Rolling Stones.
At least he has finished with his new Benghazi movie, supposed to me an image changer for him. Let’s just see.
“Transformers 5” is written by Ken Nolan (Black Hawk Down) and writers Art Marcum and Matt Holloway (Iron Man). Is produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and executive producer Steven Spielberg. Mark Wahlberg sets to return.
