The live-action Mulan adds another villain in the form of Jason Scott Lee.
Jason Scott Lee joins the cast as the vengeful Bori Khan. This live adaptation will be Lee’s third time working with Disney after lending his voice in Lilo and Stitch and playing a mature Mowgli in 1994’s The Jungle Book.
Lee rounds up the rivals’ side with Memoirs of a Geisha‘s Gong Li who will be playing the role of an evil witch. The Forbidden Kingdom’s Liu Yifei will be bringing Mulan to life along with Jet Li as The Emperor and Filthy Rich’s Xana Tang as Mulan’s sister.
Rogue One‘s Donnie Yen, Pitch Perfect‘s Utjarsh Ambudkar, The Meg‘s Yoson An and Shanghai Noon‘s Roger Yuan also star as new characters.
The Mulan live-action remake is slated to be released in theaters on March 2020.
