It seems that the Terminator is still yet to proclaim hasta la vista, baby. With James Cameron regaining the rights to this billion-dollar movie franchise after 35 years, a Terminator reboot is in the works and Deadpool director is set to helm.
Titanic and Avatar director James Cameron will be re-owning the Terminator franchise rights in 2019. And with that move, Cameron is teaming up with Deadpool director and visual effects wiz, Tim Miller. Miller, as Deadline reports, is set to helm the Terminator reboot which will mark the end of the popular franchise that started on 1984.
The first two installments, which are both directed and written by James Cameron, garnered high praise and rave reviews compared to the rest that followed. We reckon that fans of the franchise are going to be excited and assured to know that Iron Jim is given his turn to work his magic on the big screen with the time travelling, humanoid cyborg.
