Hugh Jackman posted an encrypting Instagram post a couple of days ago and the internet has been buzzing ever since.
Fans thought the unbearable and right away expressed their “oh nos” and “please don’ts” hoping to change the actor’s mind. Some has already guessed the movie where Jackman will perform his last stunt as the superhero. Either it will be Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse or the sequel to the 2013 Wolverine movie.
A source reached The Wrap to confirm that the sequel to the 2013 standalone movie will be Hugh Jackman’s last appearance as Wolverine. It has a due date in the year 2017.
Back in 2014, the actor has said that the sequel would be far different than the first.
“I’d probably move it to a different visual palette. We are looking at a lot of different storylines. No one has jumped out.”
He will still appear in Apocalypse next year and is rumored to make an appearance in the film adaptation of Deadpool starring Ryan Reynolds.
The actor has so far appeared in six movies playing his famous role since the first 2000’s X-Men movie.
