The spawn of Hell will rise soon to save our world. It’s creator Mike Mignola announced a film reboot for the comic book hero.
Whoah, don’t count your chicken eggs just yet! ‘Hellboy’ creator announced that a reboot of his beloved cult classic comic book hero will come to fruition. According to his Facebook post, director Neil Marshall (The Descent, Game Of Thrones) will take the helm from usual ‘Hellboy’ director Guillermo del Toro. And this time, David Harbour (Stranger Things) will play the titular role.
Taking account of the new director’s resume, expect the reboot to be R rated, quite a stray from the franchise’s usual PG ratings. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Millenium is now in early negotiations with producers Larry Gordon and Lloyd Levin to relaunch the property. Dark Horse Entertainment’s Mike Richardson is co-producing.
