Film is directed and written by J.A. Bayona (The Orphanage, A Monster Calls). Colin Trevorrow, the first director of the film, co-writes the sequel.
Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady returns for the sequel along with Bryce Dallas Howard and BD Wong. They are joined by newcomers Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Justice Smith, Daniella Pineda, Ted Levine, Geraldine Chaplin, and James Cromwell. The cast also includes Jeff Goldblum’s Dr. Ian Malcolm, an original character from the first two films in the Jurassic Park franchise.
Sequel’s plot is still unknown. However, there are some released stills from the movie.

Trevorrow had teased the story though, which involves B.D. Wong’s role warning Dr. Mesrani, ‘We’re not always going to be the only ones who can make a dinosaur.” “I think that’s an interesting idea that even if we don’t explore fully in this film, there is room for this universe to expand,” says Trevorrow.
