The sequel to Fantastic Beasts just released its last trailer before it opens in theaters this November and fans are floored by a particular scene which features one famous serpent.
Since the release of their first cast photo for the Fantastic Beasts sequel, one mysterious character has been the center of speculation. One theory that has been circling around Claudia Kim‘s cursed character is finally confirmed and fans have long been churning this rumor mill since November of 2017.
In the trailer at 0:30, we see Ezra Miller‘s Credence whisper a name before The Maledictus, played by Claudia Kim, transforms into Voldemort‘s snake and Horcrux Nagini.
This longtime fan speculation has been brought up since the summer of 2017 when it was known that the sequel would involve a magical circus. Fans have also speculated that a maledictus cannot control her transformations, which is proven to be false. Kim said in a recent interview that Nagini can transform from human to snake at will, however, being a carrier of this blood curse, Nagini feels that her dreadful fate of becoming a snake is close at hand.
Author J.K. Rowling produces the film with David Heyman, Steve Kloves, and Lionel Wigram. Returning to the sequel are Eddie Redmayne as magical zoologist Newt Scamander, Katherine Waterston as Tina, Alison Sudol as Queenie, Dan Fogler as Jacob, Ezra Miller as Credence, Zoë Kravitz as Leta Lestrange, and Johnny Depp as dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald.
