It’s precisely like Jurassic Park meets Jaws.
Warner Bros is giving the directing reins to Eli Roth (Hostel II, Knock Knock) for the disaster thriller project that has been waiting to rise up to the surface for almost 20 years. The title of the project is ‘Meg’.
Meg is actually short for Megaladon, an extinct species of shark that lived during the Cenozoic Era (approximately 15.9 to 2.6 million years ago). The shark is said to be one of the most powerful animals of the ancient world and can stretch to 60 feet. The movie is based on the Steve Alten novel of the same name.
The movie will revolve around two men who wants to capture Meg who is terrorizing the California coast.
The movie will also be produced by Atelles Entertainment and Maedey Productions. Eli Roth has the thriller ‘Knock Knock’ later this year that is starred by Keanu Reeves.
