Disney is churning up their live-action movies based on past animated films. This time, they are planning for a Lady and the Tramp live-action film. Yep! We may be able to watch two CGI animated or at least real-life dogs share a meatball pasta under a moonlit sky.
The movie will be released on Disney’s upcoming streaming service which will be launched in 2019. Directing the film will be The Lego Ninjago Movie‘s Charlie Bean. Producing it will be Brigham Taylor, who co-produced the 2016 live-action The Jungle Book.Andrew Bujalski is writing the script for the remake with Jessica Virtue and Chaz Salembier overseeing the project for Disney.
The classic animated 1955 film, Lady and the Tramp, was about a sheltered female Cocker Spaniel who accidentally fell into the city’s tough streets and meets and later falls in love with a stray mutt.
