Aquaman aims to be a “swashbuckling action adventure, sort of high seas adventure story.”
Aquaman stars Jason Momoa, who reprises his role of Aquaman from previous films in the DC Extended Universe. The film also stars Amber Heard as Mera, Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta. Film is directed by James Wan, and is due to be released on December 21, 2018.
