Anna Kendrick discovers her Marvel alter-ego all thanks to her brother.
This Scrappy Little Nobody, as Kendrick likes to call herself (and is the title of her book which is coming out in November), visits Net-a-Porter as she promotes her new flick Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates. In the article, Kendrick shows her wit and charm as she talks about her big twitter following, her co-stars of her upcoming movie, her fans and her taking on the role of a certain half-sciurus, half-sapien Marvel heroine (if there will ever be a movie, here’s hoping).
In the interview, after gushing about her fellow co-actors like Zac Efron and Ryan Reynolds, the Pitch Perfect star is asked if she would “take on the spandex suit that goes hand-in-hand with superhero status?”
Kendrick said, “my brother sent me a Squirrel Girl comic because he thinks I should [play her]. I don’t know what Squirrel Girl does other than be half squirrel, but I could be half squirrel!”
There you have it, folks. Now, let’s make it happen! #kendrickforsquirrelgirl
Thanks to Net-a-Porter, we get a double dose of Anna Kendrick in the video below.
