We’ve all had our share of stories about horrible bosses and Kevin Feige’s story is nothing different.
A change of leadership in Marvel Studios means for the best financially for it’s employees, talent and it’s president Kevin Feige. The world’s greatest super hero nerd will no longer report to billionaire and Marvel Entertainment CEO Isaac “Ike” Perlmutter. He will directly report to Disney’s studio chief Alan Horn.
Kevin Feige could not have convinced Horn and Disney CEO Bob Iger to get Perlmutter out of the filmmaking process if it wasn’t for his outstanding work of turning Marvel Studios “from a flailing comic book company into a film powerhouse”.
Perlmutter, who prides his privacy and philanthropy but has had Marvel employees and talents feel frustrated for his very eccentric tight budgets.
The loss of Perlmutter could also mean more budget for Feige’s new project “Captain America:Civil War.”
