Here’s the thing about Simon Pegg, when he keeps secrets about the films that he is doing or rumored to be doing, he likes to tease about them. Uttering implications that he may be in them, or in the Star Trek case, another famous actor, or not. He really leaves fans wondering. [Read more…]
Simon Pegg is expected to take a lead role in another alien movie. No, it’s not Paul II. It’s called “Absolutely Anything” which you can tell from the title that it could be about absolutely anything!
The Guardian reports,
“Simon Pegg takes the lead role in Terry Jones’s new sci-fi comedy, which will feature four more members of Monty Python.”
Based on that sentence alone, this movie is going to be bloody fun and utterly humorous (especially if you’re British). In Joblo.com, on their Dec 11 article on the movie, they cited that it’s an animated film. But IMDB.com, mentions nothing about it as completely animated, only the aliens are. And it’s still on pre-production and you can’t release an animated movie this 2014 when it’s still at that level. We’ll that’s a relief cause it’s so much fun to see how Simon will act physically with this plot.
As a Peggster fan myself, I can’t wait for this film to come out. However, when it does, I wish they’ll change to a more specific title. Hmm..perhaps “Teacher meets Aliens”. It is distinctive and interesting enough to gather audiences.
