With Spider-Man: Homecoming still in its very early stage of principal photography, last month’s on-set pics of the young actors are all that we have about the movie’s current production status…. until now.
Director Jon Watts posted a new behind-the-scenes video on Instagram of his Spider-Man: Homecoming star Tom Holland. There’s nothing much going on in the video but something seems a bit off with Holland’s shadow. Take a look at the 10-second video below, which features Tom and his spooky shadow.
The video shows Holland sitting on a box surrounded by green screens with flickering lights. The lights seem to project a shadow that eerily looks like Spider-Man doing his signature frog pose. You know, this pose:
Based on the very short footage, regardless of the “spooky shadow”, we can hypothesize that our young Spider-Man might be in deep thought and perhaps sitting atop a building looking down on the city thus, the need of green screens.
