The early Deadpool screenings in Los Angeles and New York City has been making rounds in the Internet and comic book movie fans and the Deadpool fans are raving about it.
Even people of the Entertainment biz are gushing about how awesome it is. However, history has proven already that early screenings responses should sometimes not be trusted. However, Deadpool might be one of the exemption.
Stan Lee and The Walking Dead creator, Robert Kirkman, are praising the movie:
Just saw the #Deadpool movie and it was AMAZING (all because of my cameo)!

We are entering the A.D. era of superhero movies. There were movies before Deadpool… But now, things will be different. Game changer.

Okay, we get it Robert.

However, early screenings are always met with positive responses. You guys remember when Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four did it’s own early screenings?
Six months later, F4 gets razzie nominations.
Early screenings are sometimes misleading and terribly vague (then again, nobody wants spoilers), so we can only find out if Deadpool can live up to the hype by February 10 or 12. However, I don’t think Stan Lee and Kirkman will try to tarnish their credibility with lies. So Deadpool is probably gaining it’s way to be one of Marvel’s best movies.
