In the comic book world, a super hero’s costume is very important. Like the powers, it helps make the hero super. That’s why it’s big news when Oscar Isaac shares a bit how his costume for X-Men: Apocalypse will be.
Isaac ( A Most Violent Year, Ex Machina) shares the process of conceptualizing his costume as En Sabah Nur a.k.a Apocalypse.
“You spend 3-4 hours with them putting plaster all over your head and they get a sense of what your face is like and what shape your head is, so they can start figuring out the costume and the make up and all that stuff, which is pretty fun,” the actor said in an interview with Yahoo Movies.
It’ll be a mix [of practical and digital],” he continues. “I haven’t had a script so I haven’t had a chance to look through the script and see what the exact requirements are, but I think it’ll be a mixture of physical, aided with some robotic technology.”
20th Century Fox has made a reputation of NOT being faithful to the source’s original costume designs. But, let’s just wait and hope that it’ll look great!
